Willie Lee Bell Man moves through three stages as he completes: birth, lifespan and death. Willie Lee Bell was born to the late Willie and Marie Brown-Bell on August 12, 1924. His life was filled with much happiness when he was united in holy matrimony to Dora Brown-Bell. God Blessed this marriage with 13 children, 4 preceded him in death. He became a Christian at an early age and was affiliated with the Christian United M. B. Church, under the leadership of Rev. J. L. Armstrong. At one time, Rev. Bell was the former Pastor of the St. Peter M.B. Church in Earle, AR. Rev. Bell retired from Impala Motors after many years of dedicated service. He was the great manager of The Bell Singers for 33 years and during the many years that he brought them to the floor, he would ask the musicians “Are You Ready?” and if they still were not ready he would say “Yall Ain’t Ready” and would give us that smile that everyone loved and everyone would just fall out laughing. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Dora Bell; four daughters; Shirley Wofford (Charles), Stella Alexander, Linda Ellis, Patricia Artison (Willie) all of Memphis, TN; six sons; Earl Bell (Juanita) of Conway, AR; David Bell (Veola), Willie Bell, Jr. (Joyce) both of Little Rock, AR; Larry Bell (Sandra), Rev. Danny Bell (Regina) both of Memphis, TN; and Lawrence Bell (Debra) of Benton Harbor, MI; A sister-in-law, Betty Groves (David) of Danville, IL; and a host of nieces, nephews, LOTS of Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, cousins and friends who will miss him dearly. He also leaves an extended family in The Bell Singers: Toiann Leach, Rev.
